A repeatable product image workflow
A consistent catalog starts with a deliberate recipe: shared dimensions, predictable margins and the right format. Try a representative batch before processing a whole collection.
1. Keep originals
Use a separate output folder. Name original files with product identifiers so alternate angles stay connected to the right listing.
2. Choose a shared canvas
Square canvases work for mixed shapes; portrait canvases give tall products more space. Check your destination's current requirements. Our presets are general-purpose layouts, not marketplace certification.
3. Fit first; crop intentionally
Fit shows the whole source. Fill crops edges to cover the padded area. Review packaging, labels and fine details. Padding does not detect product boundaries.
4. Use the right background method
Transparent cutouts can sit on any canvas color. Opaque photos keep their existing background. Read the PNG guide before choosing a background workflow.
5. Review and export
Check edges, labels, crop and dimensions. PNG preserves transparency; JPEG often reduces photo file size. The ZIP includes successful files only, so compare the processed count to your input count.
